If you are hoping to customize your guitar Tim will work with you
through the many options and prices available:
- Woods
- Standard backs and sides are matching Indian Rosewood. Alternatives could include: Mahogany or Maple and more exotic woods that can be discussed.
- Standard tone wood is Sitka Spruce but other options include Western Red Cedar, Engelmann Spruce, German Spruce, Adirondack Spruce (if available) or Mahogany.
- Cutaway
- Necks
- Necks are usually Mahogany or a version Sapele
- Standard scale length (25.4) and 14 clear fret may be adjusted on request.
- Neck width (std. 1-3/4)
- Shape
- Fingerboard and matching bridge
- Typically Richlite (very durable), Ebony, or Rosewood
- Head plate
- Binding (Std. plastic). Wood binding on request.
- Purfling and Backstrip:
- Tim adds a marquetry purfling to the tops of all his guitars that matches the backstrip however it is your call if you'd like something else.
- Sound hole rosette
- Finish (std. gloss body and satin neck). Sunburst additional
- Tuners (std. Grover chrome) can easily be substituted
